ADAM Ashley-Cooper has claimed a knockout blow in his extraordinary Twitter feud with Irish rugby legend Brian O’Driscoll.
The pair created international headlines for taking pot shots at each other in 140 characters or less after the Irish outside centre accused Ashley-Cooper of chasing a quick pay day by moving to French club Bordeaux-Bègles.
Now, the feud has been finished.
The 31-year-old Wallabies outside back filmed a video of himself giving O’Driscoll the ultimate show of cheek by following UFC champion Conor McGregor’s lead and performing the ‘make it rain’ gesture with a fat stack of cash.
The video, filmed and posted by new Bordeaux teammate Sofiane Guitoune, was re-tweeted by Ashley-Cooper with a message for O’Driscoll in French.

The translated tweet says: “You’re right Brian O’Driscoll”.
The man has some impressive banter.
The pair’s recent social media square-off was sparked after controversial comments were made by the former Irish international on an Irish radio show.
O’Driscoll commented on the Australian’s decision to head overseas to play for Bordeaux-Bègles following the 2015 World Cup, and questioned his motives in making the move.
The former British and Irish Lions skipper was discussing the idea of Leinster utility back Ian Madigan moving to Irish rivals Munster, and used the former Wallaby as an example in explaining his motives
